The owners wanted a working office on the property without it reading as one from the library — no visible door, no seam in the paneling to give it away. The solution was a single flush panel within the walnut wall system, hung on concealed hardware and grain-matched so precisely to its neighbors that the opening disappears when closed.

Every panel in the room was cut from the same flitch and laid out on the shop floor before fabrication began, so the walnut reads as one continuous surface wrapping the entire study rather than a collection of individual bookcases.
