Complex work needs a clear sequence.

Materials have lead times. Fabrication depends on approved information. Installation depends on site conditions outside Casa Mar’s control. A defined sequence doesn’t remove those dependencies — it accounts for them, so coordination replaces surprises.

  1. Discovery

    We learn the project — the architecture, the architect, the timeline, and how the client actually lives.

    What Happens
    An initial consultation covering scope, budget bands, and existing architectural drawings.
    Key Decisions
    Overall scope, priority rooms, and whether the project is design-ready or still in early planning.
    What the Client Receives
    A scope summary and an estimated investment range.
    Who Is Involved
    Casa Mar project lead, client, and architect or builder where applicable.

  2. Design Development

    Concepts become drawings — material palettes, joinery language, and room-by-room detailing.

    What Happens
    Material selection and detail development, in coordination with the architect or designer already leading the project where one is in place.
    Key Decisions
    Material direction, joinery language, and how millwork integrates with the surrounding architecture.
    What the Client Receives
    Elevations, material samples, and a finalized scope.
    Who Is Involved
    Casa Mar design lead, architect, interior designer.

  3. Engineering

    Design drawings become shop-ready engineering — tolerances, reveals, hardware, and CNC programming.

    What Happens
    Full shop drawing set, technical review, and CNC programming.

    Final shop drawings for approval.

  4. Material Procurement

    Veneer flitches and solid stock are selected and sequenced for the specific project.

    Sourcing and grain-matching of veneer and solid wood stock across the full project scope.

  5. Fabrication

    Casework is built in the shop — CNC machining, hand joinery, and assembly.

  6. Quality Control

    Every piece is reviewed against the shop drawings before it leaves the building.

  7. Delivery

    Finished millwork is packed and transported to site, sequenced for the installation plan.

    Protective packing and scheduled delivery to the jobsite, coordinated with site readiness.

  8. Installation

    Casa Mar's own installers set the work on-site, coordinating with the tolerances of the real building.

    On-site installation by the Casa Mar installation team, coordinated with the builder's schedule.
