A finished photograph hides almost everything that made it possible. Casa Mar’s process begins months earlier, in drawings, material decisions and shop tolerances that determine the final quality long before installation day.
Engineering Drawings
Full shop drawings translate an architect's intent into something a fabricator can actually build to — dimensions, tolerances, reveals, hardware locations, and how a run of cabinetry meets the walls, floors and ceiling around it. Site conditions are checked against the drawings before fabrication starts, not after.

Veneer Selection
Flitches are selected and laid out whole, in the order they came off the log, so grain can be sequenced across every panel in a room before fabrication begins. The goal is visual continuity — a wall of cabinetry that reads as one surface rather than a set of individually chosen boards.

Shop Fabrication
Assembly happens in the same shop that produced the drawings, which means fit problems get caught and corrected before a single component ever leaves the building. Components are dry-fit, checked against the shop drawings, and adjusted before finishing begins.

CNC Machining
CNC machining is one tool inside a broader craft process, not a replacement for it. What it offers is repeatability — the same complex cut, joint or reveal produced identically across every panel in a room — while joinery, fit and finish remain judged and adjusted by hand.

Hand Finishing
Sanding, sheen and tone are judged by hand and eye across an entire project, not set once and repeated by machine. A finish is inspected under the same light conditions the finished room will actually have, since sheen and tone can read differently under different light.

Installation
Fabrication quality alone isn't enough — a perfectly built cabinet still has to meet a wall that isn't perfectly plumb, a floor that isn't perfectly level, and stone, lighting and hardware installed by other trades. Casa Mar's own installers handle that final fit, coordinating directly with the builder's site schedule rather than handing the work off to a separate crew.
